Having previously held prominent roles such as vice chairman for Citi and global co-head of natural resources and clean energy transition, Trauber brings a wealth of investment banking experience to the table.

His impressive track record includes providing financial advice in transactions totaling over $700 billion, many of which were significant M&A deals in the energy sector.

Gary Blitz, the Aon M&A and Transaction Solutions global co-CEO, expressed enthusiasm about Trauber’s addition to the advisory board.

He highlighted Trauber’s expertise in investment banking, energy sector knowledge, and dedication to clean energy transition.

These qualities will undoubtedly bolster the advisory board’s capabilities and assist Aon in offering even better solutions to clients navigating the volatile M&A landscape.

Aon’s decision to strengthen its M&A board is in response to recent survey results indicating a predicted increase in global mergers and acquisitions in the coming year compared to 2022.

As the company continues to adapt to evolving market conditions, the addition of Stephen Trauber to the advisory board represents a strategic move to enhance its services and support clients effectively.
