WSIC can cancel the policy for any reason during the first 60 days of the policy period. This is done by giving a written notice of at least 10 days to the insured or the Program Administrator/Managing General Agent.

After the first 60 days, WSIC can only cancel the policy for certain reasons, such as non-payment of premium, fraud, misrepresentation, or violation of policy terms, by giving a written notice of at least 30 days to the insured or the Program Administrator/Managing General Agent.

The insured or the Program Administrator/Managing General Agent can also cancel the policy at any time, by giving a written notice to WSIC. WSIC will refund the unearned premium to the insured or the Program Administrator/Managing General Agent, minus any applicable cancelation fees or charges.

Grace periods

WSIC will provide a grace period of 10 days for the payment of premium. During this period the policy will remain in force. If the premium is not paid within the grace period, the policy will lapse. WSIC will  then send a notice of cancelation to the insured or the Program Administrator/Managing General Agent.
